विकास योजनाओं को जनसामान्य तक पहुंचायेगे- महानिदेशक सूचना

सोमवार को श्री दीपेन्द्र कुमार चौधरी ने सूचना महानिदेशक का पदभार ग्रहण किया। वर्ष 2007 बैच के आईएएस श्री चौधरी ने रिंग रोड़, जोगीवाला स्थित सूचना महानिदेशालय में सूचना महानिदेशक का पदभार ग्रहण किया।
अपर निदेशक डाॅ. अनिल चंदोला व अन्य अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों ने श्री दीपेन्द्र कुमार चौधरी का स्वागत किया। पदभार ग्रहण करने के बाद महानिदेशक ने अधिकारियों से विभागीय कार्यप्रणाली की जानकारी प्राप्त की।
श्री दीपेन्द्र कुमार चौधरी ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार की विकास योजनाओं व जनकल्याणकारी कार्यक्रमों को जनसामान्य तक पहुंचाने के लिए विभिन्न माध्यमों से योजनागत रूप से काम करना होगा। इसमें मीडिया की प्रभावी भूमिका है। उन्होंने मीडिया से बेहतर समन्वय पर विशेष तौर पर बल दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि विभाग में लम्बित पड़े मामलों के निस्तारण और समाचार पत्रों की मान्यता को लेकर जल्द ही बैठक बुलाई जाएगी। हिमालयायूके ब्यूरो

महानिदेशक सूचना श्री दीपेन्द्र कुमार चौधरी के पास अपर सचिव खनन का भी प्रभार है और इससे पूर्व वे जिलाधिकारी नैनीताल सहित विभिन्न महत्वपूर्ण पदों पर कार्य कर चुके हैं।
Dehradun 23 July, 2018 Chaudhari assumes charge of Director General, Information
Mr. Deependra Kumar Chaudhari has assumed the charge of the Director General, Information, on Monday. A 2007 Batch IAS officer, Mr. Chaudhari assumed the charge of Director General, Information at Ring Road, Jogewala situated Information Directorate. Additional Director Dr. Anil Chandola and other officers and employees accorded a warm welcome to Mr. Chaudhari. After assuming charge, the Director General took the information about the departmental functioning from the officers.
He said that in order to take the development schemes and public welfare programmes of the government to the masses, work has to be done through various mediums and in a planned manner. Media has an effective role in it. He said that stress should be laid on having better coordination with the media. He said that for the settlement of cases pending in the department and the accreditation of newspapers, a meeting will be convened soon. Director General, Information Mr. Deependra Kumar Chaudhari also has the additional charge of Additional Secretary, Mining. Prior to this, he had also worked as District Magistrate Nainital besides other important posts.
