Human overpopulation is among the most pressing environmental issues, silently aggravating the forces behind global warming, environmental pollution, habitat loss, the sixth mass extinction, intensive farming practices and the consumption of finite natural resources, such as fresh water, arable land and fossil fuels, …

Contraception allows them to put off having children until their bodies are fully able to support a pregnancy. It can also prevent pregnancy for older women who face pregnancy-related risks. Contraceptive use reduces the need for abortion by preventing unwanted pregnancies.

Despite the fact that 47.8% of women in India use some form of birth control, there is still quite a bit that the average woman doesn’t know about her birth control

To make matters worse, with all of the conjecture that gets thrown around about it, finding the right type of birth control can be a tricky process and a bit confusing. Thus explaining why, more than half of India’s population in its reproductive age (15-49 years) doesn’t use a modern method of contraception to prevent unwanted pregnancies or spaced births.

However, first of all, it’s important to understand what exactly birth control means.

“It’s a method of contraceptive that prevents a woman from getting pregnant, but how each method works, as well as the side effects, pros, and cons for each differ

Methods of birth control:

Female and male sterilization. Sterilization involves a surgical procedure to prevent pregnancy permanently. These are vasectomy for males and tubal ligation or occlusion for females.    It is a permanent method so many people doesn’t like it they want  reversible method

 Contraceptives And Birth Control Methods

Birth control has been in prime focus since the early 50s. Contraception includes all methods to prevent conception and thus regulate fertility. Each method prevents pregnancy in a different way. The contraceptive methods may be:

  • Temporary for spacing the first pregnancy or spacing between two child births
  • Permanent(sterilization) for limiting the family after achieving the desired family size

Spacing methods
The risks associated with contraception are much less than risk of pregnancy, MTP or child birth, therefore it is better to avoid pregnancy by use of contraceptives.

There are various contraceptive services and birth control methods available today. They include:

1. Barrier methods .
2. Spermicides
3. Oral contraceptive Pill

They all have too many side effects like increas risk of breast cancer , uterine cancer, headache, white discharge, irregular menses, stroke, obesity and so many others Daily intake of contraceptive pills are very stressful for ladies.

Physical barriers like copper-T ,condom, vaginal pastries etc are not liked by many users and they also have many side effects.Their failure rates are well known. o everybody wants a  very safe and effective contraceptive method. In pre-allopathy era there were many methods which were used for many years. They used many effective herbs for this purpose. Some are locally acting like neem tail, trifala water etc. Some are used in form of fumes.some are given orally.
